The Meaning Behind UTOPIA
The Name: UTOPIA
Wanting to bring all students together into an empowering, inclusive, and uplifting haven where no one is left behind.
The Boat (Our Journey)
Symbolizes our collective voyage across this academic year. In this adrenaline-filled journey, we traverse life's ocean together by breaking social barriers and building genuine friendships.
The Waves & The 7Cs
The surging waves represent the 7 core virtues driving our team: Commitment, Courage, Compassion, Communication, Connection, Consideration, and Cultivation.
Why We Are Standing For Election
After beginning our journey at HPSHCC, we witnessed firsthand the tight-knit relationships between lecturers, the Students' Union, and our peers. However, we also realized that many classmates still struggle to break the ice, make friends, and balance intense academic stress.
As a team of compassionate visionaries, UTOPIA was established to provide genuine care, create spaces of emotional relief, and guarantee that every student feels heard and supported.
"We are all in the same boat, ready to open our deck and set sail for you."
