Frequently Asked Questions
We know heavy coursework can be exhausting. Our events are scheduled thoughtfully around peak assignment seasons, and we deliberately host low-pressure de-stress events—like our Pre-Exam Animal Carnival and cozy SU Room refreshments—designed specifically to recharge you rather than consume your valuable study hours.
Being first-year students means we share the exact same fresh transition hurdles and campus challenges as you right now. With our Higher Diploma in Applied Intelligent Technologies (HDAIT) background, we bring hands-on tech execution skills—enabling us to build the Foodie Map, maintain our 11-channel information matrix under @hpshccutopia, and operate efficient digital feedback channels smoothly.
Every submission through our physical SU room drop-box or digital forms is logged. Quick inquiries receive an acknowledgement and answer within 2 school days. Complex welfare proposals receive a comprehensive follow-up plan within 5 school days (suspended during official exam weeks so students and committee members can focus on revisions).
Students can access on-demand umbrella rentals for rainy days, complimentary sanitary pads and hygiene wipes, complete first-aid supplies, and exam essentials (calculators, pens, correction tapes, and rulers) with easy sign-out procedures.
